It is time to put my love affair with fondant in check. I love working with fondant and I love how it looks, but I think I use it too much. Most people prefer a good buttercream over fondant. So I thought I would step away from it for Easter. This is a white cake with a raspberry filling. I just used raspberry jam but I think it is my favorite raspberry filling so far.
What a neat, clean basket weave...not nearly as easy as it may look. Beautiful job.
