The theme for this year's Halloween party is Fear. We will be doing several "Fear Factor" challenges. This cake is chocolate with an orange colored whipped cream cheese filling and everything is covered in chocolate ganache. It could possibly be the best tasting cake ever even with the unsightly critters on top. The earthworms are made out of modeling chocolate an the maggots are made from fondant. I thought about putting spiders, roaches and flies on top too, but they are too hard to make. Fondant just won't stand on those tiny little legs. Worms and maggots are easy.
