My sister-in-law Mindy makes some amazing cakes and has been an inspiration for me in my endeavors. I saw these cupcakes on her blog and wanted to try them. They are so cute. I don't think my piping skills are as good as hers, but I thought these turned out well. The centers are Oreos surrounded by layered green, orange and yellow petals made with a leaf tip.
Your pipping skills are just fine. All you needed was ladybugs and they would have been perfect! ;)
